THINGS I WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW
Yesterday I posted a quick rundown of some of my comics that are available to read for free online- and also Hypergirl, which isn’t free, but is reasonably priced, and, yknow, award-winning. What? You know I’m going to keep pointing that out.
Anyway, it occurred to me a bit later that Sunday evening might actually be the least effective time to post such a thing, so that’s why I’m telling you again.
Another thing: a reminder that this tumblr you are reading right now is all about my art and stuff. If you want to know about stuff I like, people I like, what I think about things, and/or interact with me in a social-networky kind of way, you’ll also need to follow bigfootrock.tumblr.com/ which is where I do all that stuff.
I figure the fact that I have 60 something followers here but only 9 over there suggests that a lot of you haven’t caught on to that yet. I made the decision to start using 2 separate tumblrs after realising that any time I directed someone to my blog, there was good chance they’d be faced with a gif of a cat punching a dog in the face (at BEST); which, while cool, is not necessarily the best way to promote my comics, y’know?
The downside to this, of course, is that now when I reblog something cool by someone I want to help promote, it only gets seen by 9 people. This is not an ideal situation, and I may switch tactics again in the future. Maybe a weekly link roundup of cool stuff I want people to look at or something. But yeah, for now, if we’re friends?
